Starter Packs Inverclyde receives Lottery Funding

July 2013 - Starter Packs Inverclyde has received funding of £93,780 from the Big Lottery through their Support and Connect Fund. This will provide much needed stability over the next few years after a difficult period in which running costs have escalated significantly. It will help to increase the level of support to vulnerable people setting up home after a period of homelessness.

Although this is fantastic news and seems a lot of money it is restricted to covering rent, wages and large pack items. This still leaves a funding gap for gas, electricity and insurance together with smaller pack items such as kitchen utensils and hygiene items. Your continued support by way of money raising and gathering items is appreciated so that they can ensure they are able to maintain and enhance the level of service provided to those in need.
